who you're with

in the crisp
autumn air
blood trickling
from my nose
a drink
in my cold hand
the other
in yours
keep me warm
hold me tight
don't let me go
not tonight
not ever
i still remember
but.. do you?

Hmm, well, I don't know about "perfection," but I'd say it's pretty damn close! lol, just kidding. Yeah, this all happened over a year and a half ago already, but it still hurts. I still write about it all the time, think about it, blah, blah, blah. The usual, ya know. Thanks so much for the :+fav: as well! :hug:

Intense. Throughout it, intense. I like the imagery, and the part with the blood trickling down your nose? That was kind of cool. Nice poem, friend. ^ ^

haha, yeah. god, that was an awful night. i got really, really drunk, jumped up on my ex's back, lost my balance and fell face first on the ground!
